Chevy Chase, Maryland (May 8, 2023) — The National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The collaboration will focus on the AWS Spark program that empowers educators to engage all their learners in the digital world and the “cloud building of tomorrow.” The program zeroes in on topics such as sustainability, genomics, sports, accessibility, and planetary science. NCSSS will further awareness of this program, and AWS will provide financial support for NCSSS programs.

NCSSS executive director Todd Mann said, “NCSSS is honored that Amazon reached out to us to further its initiative. I believe,” Mann added, “that this collaboration speaks volumes about the growing influence of NCSSS in the ed tech community and will offer many new opportunities to our member schools.”
